1Information we collect

• Account information, such as your name and email address.
• Content you provide, including documents you upload and the work you create in the Service. Documents may contain information about properties and about other people. Only upload content you have the right to use and share.
• Messages, such as inquiries you send through our forms.
• Area requests. When you ask whether the Service is available where you are, we record the zip code you enter, whether you said you are a buyer or an agent, the answer you got, and a hashed form of your network address that lets us count requests without keeping the address itself. If you leave your name and email, they are kept with that request as an inquiry.
• Payment records. Payments are handled by a third-party payment processor. We receive transaction records but never full card numbers.
• Automatic data, such as standard server logs and the cookies necessary to keep you signed in and secure the Service.

2How we use information

• To provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service. This includes using service providers on our behalf for things like hosting, storage, authentication, payments, email delivery, bot protection, and AI-assisted processing of content you submit.
• To improve the Service and build new features. Improvements may draw on information from across the platform, including de-identified, aggregated data that does not identify you, and they benefit the platform and its users as a whole, not only the account the information came from.
• To communicate with you about your account, your inquiries, the areas you asked about, and the beta.
• To decide where to open the Service, using the areas people ask about.
• To comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not sell your identifiable information off the platform. Where we rely on de-identified data, we maintain it in de-identified form, do not attempt to re-identify it, and require the same of anyone we share it with.

3When we share information

• With people you choose. Content you share through the Service is visible to the people you share it with.
• With service providers that process data on our behalf for the purposes above.
• For legal reasons, if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Truebode, our users, or others.
• In a business transfer, including the planned transfer to a legal entity formed for Truebode, or a financing, acquisition, or similar transaction.

4Retention

We keep your information while your account is active, or for an inquiry until you ask us to delete it or we no longer need it, or otherwise as needed to operate the Service. The area-request log holds no name or email and is kept so we can see where interest is over time. Content you shared with others may remain in their records after you delete yours. Because this is a beta, we may need to migrate, reset, or delete data as the product changes; we will give notice where practical.

5Your choices

You have one simple choice with us. Keep your account or your inquiry, and we may contact you about it, about the areas you asked about, and about the beta. Or ask us to delete your information, and we will purge your identifiable information wherever we are able to, subject to the retention described in this Policy and to our legal obligations. The contact form on our website is the one place to make that request, and every email we send that is not a reply to something you asked for links to it.

We process information about people who are not our users only as needed to provide the Service. If you are not a user and believe the Service includes information about you, you can reach us the same way.

6Security

We use reasonable safeguards. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee against loss or exposure; keep your own copies of anything important.

7Children

The Service is for adults. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

8Changes

We will post changes here and update the date above. For material changes we will give notice by email or in the Service.
